Florida ATV Repeater

Do you feel that ATV is a valuable tool that EOC's need to call on?
Absolutly Yes without question.
From time to time.
Maybe.
Not really.

KV4ATV   ATV repeater is going into operation. It is located in Panama City, Fl.

Again, Thank You Mike and all those in California for helping us make this all happen. We could not have done it without your help. I feel that California is our Hub, our Mother Ship and central of operations for all ATN here in America and globally.

KV4ATV  Ch59  434 MHz simplex and repeater input.  919.25 MHz Output. Talk back on several frequencies, 145.210 repeater, 53.050 FM repeater, our 222.250 repeater or ask what frequency will be used. We have a 2 meter packet PBBS on 145.050 and will be putting up packet PBBS on other bands soon. Check back often and subscribe for updates.

We will begin nets soon and post the schedule here plus announce it on our voice nets. The net I'm starting is called the Hurricane Net. We will be doing active drills out in the field sending live and recorded video back to the control center. This will not only be good training and experience but will show us where we have weak or no signal coverage areas. We will be operating all through the panhandle of Florida not only in Panama City. We are working on and building a channel on YouTube listed as ATN-FL. We will be posting video recordings not only from our station but also from field training and actual events or disasters and emergencies that we will cover.

We will be having meetings very soon here in Panama City that will be open to All Ham operators and anyone who is interested in ATV and Ham radio. We will post times and locations here and on our YouTube channel ATN-FL.

With the assistance of Roland, I hope to be able to set up an internet live stream for our nets so others who can't view us live can watch and get in via the internet.
